Software Tester
COURSE BACKGROUND
A software tester is an individual that tests software for bugs, errors, defects or any problem that can affect the performance of computer software or an application.
Software testers are part of a software development team and perform functional and non-functional testing of software using manual and automated software testing techniques
Duration of the course
it is a two years course with 2 intakes per year that is January, June.
National Examination
Learners will write national exams after completing the course.
This qualification is made up of compulsory Knowledge, Practical Skill and Work Experience Modules:
Knowledge Modules
- Software Engineering.
- Fundamentals of Project Management in Relation to Software Engineering.
- Digital and Business Mathematics.
Total number of credits for Knowledge Modules: 40
Practical Skill Modules
- Test or Debug Source Code to Ensure Client’s needs are met.
Total number of credits for Practical Skill Modules: 15.

- Software Testing.
